Emergency and Crisis Support

A Peer Support Network for clinicians who have experienced adverse events or other distressing clinical encounters. The program is confidential. Email PeerSupport@med.umich.edu.

The Rackham Institute services are confidential and not documented in MiChart. Services can be requested by telephone or online.

Learner Individual and Group Support

Coming Soon! The therapy program for Learners will be available through Michigan Medicine’s Office of Counseling and Workplace Resilience, and currently has space in the B wing of the Med Sci I Building.

Counseling and Psychological Services for all University of Michigan students, run through central campus.

The HOMHP provides a range of mental health services to a large number of house officers in all disciplines; documentation is not through MiChart.

This student-led service is available to all fellow medical students to provide one-on-one support, and help foster a safe and inclusive learning and work environment for all students.

Provides students with confidential psychiatric evaluations, time-limited evidence-based treatment, and referrals to external, community-based therapists and psychiatrists for long-term management if needed.

OGPS counseling services provide assessment, referral, consultation and short-term individual counseling to all OGPS trainees on personal, emotional, family and academic/work-place issues.

Staff counselors are available to help learners with career development and personal needs. There are four counselors, each dedicated to a specific M-Home house.

A 24/7 self-guided, interactive mental health resources for faculty, staff and learners that provides cognitive behavioral interventions proven to help you feel better. These interventions help manage day-to-day stresses and anxiety, and improve resilience. This service is sponsored by the University of Michigan.
